Our Organization

The Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL) is a member-supported nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting coral reefs around the world for current and future generations. CORAL:

• works with communities to identify and solve conservation challenges;
• changes attitudes and behavior through education and training;
• provides resources to strengthen conservation efforts; and
• creates incentives for sustainable tourism.

Our People

The members of CORAL's staff come from a variety of backgrounds and countries, yet we share a common love of the ocean and passion for protecting coral reefs. We love what we do and we invite you to learn more about us.

CORAL is deeply grateful to its Board of Directors for its endless support of our efforts in science, finance, fundraising, and governance.

Our Partners

An important part of CORAL's work is to build partnerships among international organizations, government, and the private sector to reduce threats to coral reefs and create sustainable local communities. Through education and support, CORAL facilitates the development of Sustainable Business Partners at our program sites.
